as Nainital attractions as they are often
visited by hordes of tourist from far away places.
Some of the major Nainital attractions include:
Lake Naini: The city derives its name from this lake. This lake is also a favorite hot spot for the people who love yatching or para sailing. All around the lakes are shops and hotels from where the tourists can buy memorabilia.
The Aerial Ropeways at Mallital: Situated at 2.270 meters above the sea level, this place provides a thrilling experience and an aerial view of Nainital. The ropeway takes around 3 minutes to cover the one-way distance.
Snow View Point: This place offers a panoramic view of the snow covered mountain peaks. It attracts tourists in great numbers.
Hanuman Garhi: Known for its spectacular views of sunset, this temple is famous among the worshippers of lords Rama and Hanuman. The other side of the mountain houses the Lila Sah Bapuji’s Ashram and the temple of Shitala Devi.
The Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES): Among the other Nainital attractions is ARIES which is often filled with tourist to see the night sky on a full moon day or even to watch different star constellations.
Naina Peak or the China Peak: One can get the entire view of Nanital from this place.
